Habituated Gorilla Families in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - as of March 2020 Uganda, The Pearl of Africa, together with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo are home to about 1,063 mountain Gorillas (total global population) with over 50% of them residing in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park.
