Day 03
Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart Tarangire National park heading for the Ngorongoro crater. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and afternoon game drive into the crater floor.
Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and African elephants.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. You will ascend the crater late afternoon returning to your camp at the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04
Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti
After breakfast, depart Ngorongoro Crater for the Serengeti National Park. You will have a stopover at the Ol dupai Gorge. It was here, that the anthropologists Dr. Louis and Dr. Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of 'Nutcracker Man' and 'Handy Man', both very significant links in the chain of human evolution. Leaving the highlands behind, you will descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area therefore attracting most wildlife found in the Serengeti eco-system. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and afternoon game drive.

Day 05
Serengeti
Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park. Although Serengeti is world famous for the annual wildebeest and other ungulates’ migration, the park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the "Big Five", named for the five most prized trophies taken by game hunters. Natural habitats in Serengeti include savannah grass lands dotted with acacia trees, magnificent rock outcroppings called kopjes, swamps, dense bush as well as streams and rivers. They provide different opportunities for tracking different animal’s species. Return to the camp late evening after a whole day in the African jungle.

Day 06 & 07
Serengeti / Seronera – Serengeti / Kogatende
After breakfast depart the Seronera heading for the Kogatende area of the northern Serengeti Plains. Kogatende is located in the North of Serengeti National Park, only few km from the Masai Mara, the most spectacular scenario of wildlife in its pure essence. Kogatende is ideally set in the migratory route of over two and a half million of wildebeest in their desperate struggle for survival. The Lobo area as you head north is dominated by rolling hills.
Owing to the undulating nature of the landscape, it is an ideal area to view animals from a distance. Kopjes are eroded granite hills that were created millions of years ago when volcanic bubbles broached the surface and solidified. They were then eroded by rains, creating singularly beautiful forms. These higher grounds provide fantastic views of the migration in the grasslands to the east. The waterholes spread all over the area attract a variety of wildlife such as elephant, zebra, buffalo and gazelle. Overnight will be at the Kogatende or Lobo area of Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart northern Serengeti for the Lake Natron. Wild and remote Lake Natron lies in the northeast of Tanzania in between the Ngorongoro Highlands and Serengeti plains. Situated at the base of Africa's only active volcano- Oldonyo L'Engai meaning Mountain of God.
Lake Natron is one of the most alkaline lakes in the world. Home to millions of tiny crustaceans, the lake is a haven for literally thousands of lesser flamingos and it is one of the most important flamingo breeding grounds on earth. Here it is the landscape rather than the animals that is the attraction - the area around the lake is dry, desolate and hauntingly beautiful. Arrive at your tented camp in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.
