Between the months of June and October, over 1.5 million wildebeests, accompanied by about 350,000 Thompson Gazelles and 200,000 Zebras, Elands and other animals turn the northern part of the Serengeti, and Masai Mara in Kenya into the theatre for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle; the wildebeest migration. This is where their annual journey (covering about 26,000-kilometer squares) in search of greener pastures gets them between June and October, with breath taking jumps of life & death across the Crocodile infested Mara River and action-packed predator / prey / scavenger scenarios witnessed across the Mara / Serengeti eco system.
