The 13 luxury cottages at Tawi Lodge feature 4 poster beds, comfortable mattresses, a chimney, a private wooden deck, showers and Victorian baths. Your stay at Tawi Lodge is enhanced by the gourmet cuisine that is served here, freshly brewed African coffee as well as the fine wines from their cellar. Meals are prepared using produce grown in the lodge’s organic gardens irrigated with water from the Kilimanjaro surfaces that trickles through the volcanic rocks, thus creating a very fertile soil.

Tawi Lodge has 4 different lounges with deep couches, 2 bars where you can enjoy a drink, read, relax by the fire place or the lodge’s own watering hole that is known to attract all the wildlife of the area. Under the umbrella shade of the enormous Tortillis acacia trees, you enjoy an extensive view of the towering Mt. Kilimanjaro and the wetlands where the animals come to drink and play.
