Ole Serai Luxury Camp Kogatende is a luxury tented camp located north of Serengeti National Park. Set amidst the most prime areas of the Serengeti following the path of the great migration, it got its name from Kogatende, the strategic area where it is located, an area that offers a front row seat to seeing the migrating herds between July and October every year. The distance from the camp to Kogatende airstrip is only 1.5 kilometers, 2.5 kilometers from the famous Mara River and 454 kilometers from Arusha. This area is sparsely inhabited by large Acacia as well as Tortilis Tree’s and is home to a high density of game that reside in this area throughout the year due to catchments of water bodies around the area. Due to the Campsite’s ideal location, the great spectacle of the world-famous annual migration can be witnessed almost as close as to the camp’s doorsteps – since the site lies along one of the main migratory  corridors, a path that the wildebeests follow during their Great Migration heading to and from the North and South of the Serengeti.
