Located at the heart of the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, Melia Serengeti Lodge is situated on the naturally terraced Southern Slopes of Nyamuma Hills, enjoying spectacular views that extend all the way down into the Mbalageti River Valley.
The location of this luxury Lodge stunning sunset views over the mountains beyond which boasts of an abundant population of resident game, and the annual migration that often passes through the area.
The design of Melia Serengeti Lodge follows the gentle meander of the terrace edge in tandem with the natural landscape of existing tree and Rocky Outcrops (Kopjes). This ensures that guests staying at the lodge experience a greater interface between the lodge and nature.
The lodge has 50 rooms that include Melia Lagoon View rooms on the ground floor, Melia Savannah Panaromic Rooms on the first floor, Junior Suites and 2 One Bedroom Suites which can also be converted into 2 Two Bedroomed Suites via inter connecting doors. All rooms at suites at the lodge are decorated with patterns and colors of the traditional Masai tribe used as accents on a muted background.

Getting there: Melia Serengeti Lodge is located 30 Kilometers from Seronera airstrip and 335 Kilometers from Arusha city. You can take a scheduled flight from Arusha or Zanzibar, or drive from Arusha (with at least an overnight recommended at Lake Manyara or Ngorongoro). You can also drive there from Lake Victoria (Tanzania) or if on a safari from Kenya through the Isebania border.
