Lake Nakuru Lodge is a mid-range facility located inside Lake Nakuru National Park. The rustic lodge, the oldest to be built at Lake Nakuru boasts of unobstructed views of the lake and wildlife. Its central location inside a part of the park that enjoys high wildlife concentration makes it one of the best lodges at Lake Nakuru.

The Lodge is located about 166 kilometers from Nairobi, with a driving time of about 3 hrs. along the busy Nairobi- Nakuru highway. The scenic drive however offers the visitor an unrivalled view of the majestic Great Rift Valley, winding through a series of lakes and forested uplands all the way to the bustling market town of Nakuru.

There are 95, spacious deluxe rooms at Lake Nakuru Lodge. All the rooms have a glass sliding door- all with ensuite bathrooms, mosquito nets and permanent showers. From the room, one can enjoy views of the lake, the park or garden depending on the allocated suite. There are 2 suites at the lodge, each with a sitting room and private verandah. Lake Nakuru Lodge has one outdoor swimming pool.

Mutarakwa restaurant, the lodge’s main dining facility serves buffet lunch, dinner and breakfast on live cooking counters. Menus served are local, international and Indian, with vegetarians, vegan and gluten free options also served. In the evening, guests can relax at Mama Nikki bar which comes alive with traditional performances being showcased.
