Entim Mara is a camp located at the heart of Masai Mara National Reserve. Its size, unique location and personalized service make it stand out.

The property, which has only 12 luxury tents is designed to offer a friendly and most intimate safari experience in one of the world’s leading wildlife safari destinations; the Masai Mara. Entim Mara Camp enjoys a prime location along the Mara River where photographers are guaranteed of an unrivalled game viewing experience all year round, but particularly to witness the annual wildebeest migration consisting of over 1.2 million wildebeests, zebras and antelopes from July to October.  While many safari lodges and camps are located in conservancies bordering the Masai Mara, Entim Mara Camp is located right inside the reserve. This means that you are staying right at the center of Masai Mara’s thrilling wildlife activities which mainly take place at dawn and dusk. From Entim, you are not in a hurry to leave the park when the gates close at 1800 hrs, so you can enjoy your game drives and be at the camp by 1830 hrs.

The Wildebeest Migration draws many tourists to the Mara from July. Getting to witness a rare River Crossing can sometimes be difficult. This is because the migrating wildebeests can hesitate by the river banks for days before taking the “leap of life or death”. With the Mara River right at the camp’s doorstep, river crossings may be witnessed from the camp’s compound. Guests staying at Entim can be first every time there is a river crossing or a sighting of the Big cats before other tourist vehicles get to the scene. These allows them to take quality, up close photos.

Entim (means a forest in Masai language) is discreetly tucked on the edge of the riverine woodlands. The shaded seclusion offered by the attractively designed safari camp allows guests to relax in a luxurious environment while enjoying views of the expansive plains and the world-renowned Mara River, within in a serene atmosphere.

All the 12 tents at the small and eco-friendly Entim Mara Camp are tastefully but differently designed, and well equipped. Each of the en-suite tents has been individually decorated to provide the ideal blend of colour, ambience and texture; with each boasting of its own large and secluded verandah.

Entim Mara Camp also has a sister camp in the same compound; The Entim private wing that enjoys an intimate bush setting, offering a front row seat for private wilderness experiences. The stylishly simple private wing is only 100 meters close to the Mara River, but has comforts and luxuries that make your stay memorable. It is ideal for small groups that want exclusivity, solo travelers and couples who want privacy.
