Mara Bush Camp is a collection of three eco-friendly, boutique luxury tented camps enjoying a great location on the banks of the Olare Orok River in Masai Mara National Reserve.

The camps; Mara Bush Camp, Mara Bush Camp Private Wing and Luxury Migration Camp which are part of the Soroi Collection portfolio boasts one of the best and most spectacular locations in the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Only 8 minutes’ drive away from the Ol Kiombo Airstrip, the Mara Bush Camps overlook a hippo pool on the seasonal Olare Orok River. At any given time, you have a good chance of seeing a school of over 40 Hippos.

The unique location where Mara Bush Camp is located allows easy access to the game rich yet less crowded areas of the Masai Mara like Ol Kiombo, Double Cross and even the Musiara Marsh.

Number of Rooms at each camp:

Mara Bush Camp: Soroi Mara Bush Camp has ten luxury river-facing tents each accommodating two adults and one child. For families, there are two family tents that accommodate up to four people.

The camp is entirely solar-powered, with a backup generation tucked a distance away from the camp to ensure silence.

Soroi Private Wing: Specially designed for those who desire an African wildlife experience, yet with exclusivity and maximum seclusion, the has 4 forest-facing luxury tents, 6 river-facing luxury tents and 2 river-facing luxury tents.  Each luxury tent is spacious, meticulously designed with mahogany furniture and luxurious soft furnishings, giving it the desired comfort of a luxury camp with a “bush feeling”. All tents have en-suite bathrooms, a mini-fridge and a fan.

Luxury Migration Camp: Soroi Luxury Migration Camp features eight river-facing luxury tents and two-family units, complemented by a photographic lounge, al-fresco dining area and a hippo pool.  All the oversized luxury tents at the camp are elevated from the ground and have floor-to-ceiling glass that invites nature in. Each meticulously designed tent has a cozy four-poster bed, en-suite bathrooms, an array of comfort amenities, and a private veranda. The luxury family unit has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. A private lounge separates the bedrooms and forms an ideal space where everyone can unwind and reconnect after their game drives.

How to get there: Mara Bush Camps are located about 8 minutes from Ol Kiombo Airstrip and about 270 Kilometers from Nairobi. You can book a 50 minutes flight from Wilson Airport or enjoy a 5 to 6 hours drive from Nairobi.
