Il Keliani is a mid-range tented camp nestled in a River Glade in Masai Mara Game Reserve. The area it is located in is a favorite for Elephants that come to drink from the Talek River. Il Keliani Camp has been designed to combine the old traditional safari style with a modern and fresh feel. Each of the 17 tents in this permanent camp which is designed along eco-friendly principles commands views of the plains and the wildlife action throughout the day. Each of the stylish, well-equipped tents have en suite bathroom, with each sitting under its own cluster of shady indigenous trees, giving you the feeling that you are out in the wilderness. The tents interiors are spacious and comfortable featuring a front verandah with a day bed and canvas safari chairs. Sumptuous cuisine comprising of local and international menus combined with personal service contribute to an unforgettable safari experience at Il Keliani.

The central location of Il Keliani Camp allows you to choose between early morning and late afternoon game drives, or a full day game drive with quality, picnic lunch, depending on what you agree with your guide. All dietary requirements are catered for including vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian and gluten free meals. All you need to do is to let us know at the time of your booking, for advance communication with the camp.

We arrange road packages to Il Keliani Camp, and one can also fly here on a scheduled flight that takes about 50 minutes from Nairobi’s Wilson airport. Options are there to fly here from other parks in Kenya like Samburu, Naivasha and Nanyuki.
